Valuable advice

Lullaby Trust recommends immediately placing the child in a crib or carrycot when you feel you are about to fall asleep. For nursing mothers, it is advisable to be in the presence of another person who can monitor the good progress of things or to adopt a position in which it is certain that one will not fall asleep, always according to expert advice. Finally, the organization – as well as the NHS, the British public health system – strongly advises against sleeping with a baby if you are a smoker, if you have consumed alcohol, if you are extremely tired and finally if the baby was born premature.
