How to protect yourself from pollen allergies?

Spring is here, the days are getting longer and warmer, but not everyone can enjoy it properly. Blame it on the pollen that causes allergies in more than 10 million people in France (yes, anyway!). The pollen reaction can trigger conjunctivitis, rhinitis (runny nose, sneezing and stuffy nose) as well as lung complications. People with allergies also experience fatigue, reduced reflexes and sometimes drowsiness during this period. This phenomenon of allergy is taken very seriously and therefore many solutions are applicable to limit the damage of pollen on the body. We say stop!

Remedies and useful gestures

In order to take advantage of our beautiful spring days, you can obviously go see the doctor who prescribes a drug treatment to limit the reaction (however, this does not cure the allergy). You can also be desensitized by an allergist, a gesture to be repeated over several years but very effective, just like homeopathic treatment. Prevention campaigns are in place to help us fight against pollen damage. You can find out about the level of allergy risk by city via the site
Pollens which provides a kind of pollen weather forecast. If you do not want to go to a doctor, you can already adopt good reflexes to limit exposure to pollen:rinse your hair in the evening, open your windows at sunrise and sunset and avoid exposure to other irritating substances such as tobacco, incense or home fragrance. We also remember to close our windows in the car and we avoid drying our clothes outside and encourage outdoor activities at the end of the day.

Simple gestures for a trouble-free spring!
