Back to school:5 habits to adopt to be zen with your children

1/ A calm start to the day

A good awakening and a morning without shouting announces a day in serenity. We avoid

“Quick, quick, hurry up! » and the cries all over the place. Your children will be calmer. It is also good to take into account the pace of your child. In a daily life where we are pushed to hurry, it is difficult for us to accept slowing down.

2/ Don't entrust your child with a minister's schedule

Some parents feel the need to always keep their children occupied. Between piano, football and English lessons, the child no longer finds time to breathe. These "doing nothing" times allow them to stimulate their imagination. Extra-curricular activities are very good, but not too much, two activities are enough.

3/ Not too much pressure on the notes

Let go! If your child got a bad mark, stop making them feel guilty by multiplying the reproaches, but rather try to understand what went wrong.

4/ Take time for yourself

Give yourself time for yourself without feeling guilty about being away from your child. A drink with friends, a jog with friends... To be a good parent you need to have your batteries recharged!

Don't forget that you are the first examples that the children are inspired by, it is good to slow down the pace sometimes.

5/ Let the children decompress

Your child rushes to the computer, he has the right to want to decompress. The idea is to allow him to have time for himself too.

As we have said, times without activities are necessary, they allow the child to breathe and make their imagination work.
