Children would eat poorly because of their cartoon heroes

Researchers at Colorado State University in the United States conducted a study of 300 children aged 6 to 14 by observing their habits in front of the TV. The aim of the scientists was to show that the heroes of the cartoons would influence their eating habits. For example, Homer Simpson, who shamelessly guzzles donuts or the well-dressed characters of South Park would be examples to follow for our dear darlings...

The study showed that all the children who followed the adventures of these overweight fictional heroes were also overweight. According to the researchers, these young people eat twice as much as other children but also fatter and sweeter.

According to scientists, cartoons convey information – negative or positive – and could help children learn to eat healthier and exercise.

Do not forget that for a good diet you must eat 5 fruits and vegetables a day and practice regular physical activity...
