What natural remedies for heartburn do I take?

1 – Licorice.

Anti-inflammatory, healing and anti-ulcer gastric. As a fluid extract without alcohol (“phytostandard” liquorice type), 5 ml added to a glass of water, or as a herbal tea, 1 tbsp. c. of roots for 1 cup. 1 to 2 times a day, 4 weeks max. Contraindicated in case of hypertension.

2 – Baking soda.

Alkalinizing, it has a mechanical buffer action. 1 C. c. diluted in a glass of water or, failing that, a large glass of water rich in bicarbonates (Saint-Yorre, Vichy-Célestins, Badoit). To be repeated if the pain returns, 3 to 4 times a day maximum.

3 – White clay.

By lining the gastric mucosa, it protects it and facilitates its healing. 1 C. tsp, diluted in a glass of water, drinking only the clay water that floats. Once a day, 8 days in a row max (in pharmacies and organic stores).

4 – The Nux Vomica 5 or 9 CH.

The reference homeopathic remedy in case of difficult digestion, especially if there has been alcohol consumption. 3 granules to let dissolve under the tongue, 30 min to 1 hour after the meal, to renew 2 to 3 times.
