Cyril Lignac tuna quiche:the simple and gourmet recipe for a quick lunch

When you lack a recipe idea, you often turn to quiche Lorraine! Tasty and quick to make, it can be prepared just as well for an aperitif with friends as for a dinner on a lazy evening. However, to innovate a little bit, we make it with different ingredients. Cyril Lignac unveiled his version of the tuna quiche on RTL's microphone which depends on cooking. A dish composed of tuna, vegetables and basil, which will save us when we lack inspiration for our lunch break. The chef reveals his precious advice so that the quiche can cook properly and that the dough does not have an odd texture. We reveal the preparation steps.

Cyril Lignac's tuna quiche recipe

You will need:

  • Thick shortcrust pastry
  • A can of tuna
  • Basil leaves
  • A zucchini
  • 6 whole eggs
  • 50 cl of heavy cream
  • 25 cl of milk
  • Cumin
  • Grated cheese

The preparation steps:

  1. Make a thick shortcrust pastry and prick it well. You can put lentils or peas inside and pre-cook it for 10-15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine the tuna and the basil leaves.
  3. Cut the zucchini into strips and cook them in a pan in olive oil.
  4. In a bowl, mix the eggs, heavy cream, milk and cumin.
  5. Then add the tuna, vegetables, salt and pepper.
  6. Pour it all over your dough and add grated cheese.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees.
