Yoga for in the car

You probably know it, you have a busy day and race from hot to here. There is no time for relaxation.

Yet on such days you should take a moment to catch your breath and relax your body and mind.

One way to do this and worth trying is yoga in the car. The American yoga teacher Monica Stone demonstrates it and shows four simple figures.

  1. Seated Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana)

    A perfect move to make the vertebrae more elastic. You stretch your shoulder, hips and neck.

  2. Intense stretch of the west (Paschimottanasana

    In this form you mainly stretch your hamstrings, but also your shoulders and back benefit. The organs below the diaphragm are stimulated.

  3. Camel (Ultrasana)

    A good bend of your back and extension of the arms. This attitude also opens the heart and gives freedom.

  4. Lotus Pose (Padmasana)

    The lotus position brings peace to your head, but at the same time stimulates the pelvis, back, abdomen and bladder.

Enough space in the car

Depending on how tall you are, you will of course have to adjust your seat quite a bit. If you really can't do without a good yoga session in the car, the interior space of your car is of course extra important. The next time you have to look for a new car, keep this in mind. This way you can practice your yoga better, but you can also transport more things and people. And that can also save a lot of stress in your life.
