Don't say goodbye to goji berries and chia seeds just yet – they are still packed with superpowers. But make some room in your cupboard for this batch of 10 new superfoods.

1. Coffee flour
Our prediction:coffee flour will be the superstar of 2015. Coffee flour may sound a bit strange, but don't pay attention to the name. Coffee flour does not taste like coffee, but has something fruity. And that's not surprising, because the flour is made from the sweet fruit of the coffee plant. This fruit, which resembles a large cherry, contains the coffee beans before they are harvested. Coffee farmers used to throw away the pulp after harvesting, but it has many healthy properties. That is why it is now ground into flour. The ground pulp contains five times as much fiber as regular flour and contains 84 percent less fat than coconut. Coffee flour is also packed with protein (more than in kale) and iron (more than in spinach). You can use coffee flour just like any other flour, so get started for super healthy coffee cakes. Coffee flour is not yet available in the Netherlands, but producers in countries such as Mexico and Nicaragua expect it to enter the commercial market in 2015.
