Going to the gym is a good thing. But if you have a specific goal in mind, it is advisable to set up a plan with a trainer to achieve your goals as efficiently, safely and healthily as possible. Training, nutrition and rest must be in balance. A good personal trainer can help you with that.

2. You do hundreds of sit-ups Sit-ups are not the secret to a flat stomach. If you want a super-tight set of abs, you first have to train all the abs:the rectus abdominus (the muscles you see in a six-pack), the transversus abdominus (the transverse abdominal muscle) and the obliques (the abdominal muscles on the side). Secondly, you should follow regular cardio and a healthy diet, so that your trained abs become visible.

3. You eat the calories you burn again
Counting calories is a handy indication to gain insight into how much energy you consume and consume. But you can never compensate for a bad diet with exercise. A significant part of your training result is determined by diet, sleep pattern and stress level.
