Relaxing on the beach

The sea in the background and the sand under your feet… In the summer season, Tao Vitaal gives yoga training sessions on the Zandvoort beach.

Could you use a pick-me-up? Tao yoga ensures that you come into balance physically and mentally, learn to relax and get more energy. Tao yoga stems from Taoism, which forms the basis for acupuncture and tai chi, among other things.

During the beach training, simple, effective exercises are done. The training is suitable for both novice and more experienced yogi. Some exercises on the beach are easier because the sand gives way. Other exercises are more challenging. Balance exercises are more difficult because the sand gives in and the wind sometimes 'blows you over'. And during exercises in a straddle position, your feet sometimes slip. Meditation cushions are not necessary, you make them yourself from a mound of sand with your towel over it.
